Rated 5 out of 5 by from Has kept me blemish free for 44 years I am sixty years old.Started using this in 1972 when I was sixteen. Tried other skin care products but always ended up with acne. Back to the apricot scrub til I hit menopause. My face began to dry out so I changed to a gentler cleanser and ended up with 2 blackheads...back to apricot scrub. Now it is 20 yrs later. I went for my first facial the other day. The esthetician was amazed. She raved about my skin and only had do two extractions. They were the blackheads that I developed using a "high end" expensive cleanser. Plan to use Apricot scrub for as long as I am able to wash my face. Hopefully another thirty years, I don't feel as if my face is clean without it.

I originally used another brand, but like a shampoo that St. Ives made and decided to try their version of the apricot scrub. 25 plus years later, I still use this scrub to exfoliate every day. I have never had a problem with this product because it works for me. I use common sense and don't use it if my face is sunburned or chapped from the cold. Every 'beauty expert' sings the praises of exfoliating and St. Ives has been and will always be my go to product for cleansing and exfoliating my face. It has worked for me for half my life.

I recently heard that there was a lot poor reviews of this product and I couldn't believe what I heard, so I did have to Google the situation. I adore you guys and the great products you commit yourselves to. I am 43 yrs old. I started using this product when I was 12. I used to steal the samples from my mom when they came in the mail. So when I started babysitting and making my own money that was the first thing I bought and have been purchasing it ever since. Thank you Staci

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I don't believe the controversy I've been using this product for a little while now and I've heard it all with the controversy: dermatologists don't recommend it, it'll redden your skin, it causes micro tears in the skin, it'll clog pores, it's too abrasive, etc. I have had none of these effects. My skin is very pale and every day after I cleanse and exfoliate my face, it is still pale and glowy. My skin does not get red. It's soft, smooth, and looks brand new. If you're scrubbing your skin like you're trying to remove hair dye from the shower grout, I wouldn't be surprised that your skin is red or reacting badly. You don't need a lot of pressure for this scrub to deeply exfoliate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Product This product is absolutely amazing! I will never stop using it. From the day i first tried it, it has completely changed my skin for the better. I used to struggle with acne and could never find a product that really cleared my skin for good instead of clearing it as long as i kept on using the product, but with this apricot scrub i rarely get any pimples even when i havent washed my face in a couple of days. Its a great product and you havent tried it yet and are thinking about i think you should totally give it a chance!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bring back the old formula! I had been using the old formulation of this products (the one with crushed walnut shells) for years, and I loved it. Today, I bought a new tube, only to find that the formula has been completely changed! The new formula is greasy and doesn't exfoliate. The ingredients in the new formula are NOT what is listed here on this site. Plus, this new formula has salicylic acid (to which some people are highly allergic), and it *doesn't* say so on the front label. Bring back the old formula!!! (The one with walnut shells.) Note to customers looking to stock up on the old formula: The new formula currently has 6.5 oz per tube; the old one was 6 oz.

I am in LOVE with this product - way more than anything I have ever received from Influenster yet. I would even go as far as saying that this is my overall new favorite face scrub (replacing my Neutrogena Acne Stress Control Scrub)! My skin felt softer overnight and just a week later, my skin has significantly less redness and my acne is nearly gone. I felt comfortable not wearing any make up to class for the first time in about a year. I recieved this product from Influenster for testing purposes, but all opinions of this product are my own and genuine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smells & Feels Great On My Skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample from Influenster and I have to say that without first testing it I may not have given this a try. I have bought other St. Ives lotions in the past and don't usually go for apple/pear type scents but this lotion's fragrance was really pleasant. The lotion formula itself I'm used to and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth after application. There is no oily residue. I definitely recommend giving this lotion a try.

Face Scrub Face Scrub
1. Squeeze a dime sized amount of Gentle Soothing Oatmeal Scrub & Mask onto your fingertips and massage onto damp skin. 2. Spread in small circular motions, applying gentle pressure to wake your skin’s natural circulation. 3. Work all over, right up to your hairline and onto the sides of your nose. 4. When you’re done, rinse and pat dry with a clean towel. 5. Use 3 to 4 times a week (depending on skin) for best results.
