You've heard of facial masques - now here's one for feet that's easier to make than grandma's stuffing.
- ¼ cup almonds
- ¼ cup dry oatmeal
- 3 tablespoons food grade cocoa butter
- 2 tablespoons honey
Process almonds in a blender or coffee grinder until finely ground. Set aside. In the same blender, pulse your oatmeal until of the same consistency. In a bowl, combine ground oatmeal, cocoa butter, honey and ground almonds. Rub into your clean feet, step into cotton socks and leave on overnight. The next morning remove the socks and rinse feet in cool water. Pat dry. FYI, don't remove socks until you're in the tub or you'll have to wash floors with pretty feet! In addition, be careful when stepping into the tub while the masque is still on. The mixture may make your feet slippery and you wouldn't want to fall.
Simple and quick, this massage will not only make you feel relaxed, it'll give you a glow like you just worked out.
- 2 tablespoons of a scented mineral oil such as apricot from any health food store
- Drizzle oil on hands then rub from the neck up by making circular motions with your fingertips. Ahhh!
